At present,the core family structure gradually replaces the original expanded family structure and becomes the mainstream of social development.The aging population has become one of the irreversible trends in social development today.Unbalanced economic development,one-way population flow and other factors have led to a large loss of young and middle-aged population in rural areas,and the number of empty-nest elderly in rural areas has increased dramatically.The rural pension problem caused by this has attracted great attention from society.As far as the current situation is concerned,the family pension model is difficult to meet the needs of elderly care.The disadvantages of institutional pension make the elderly have a neutral or negative attitude when choosing.Living in a familiar environment has become the first choice for most rural empty-nest elderly.Although the material needs of the elderly have been initially met,the contradiction between the growing spiritual needs of the empty nest elderly and the low degree of satisfaction has caused the empty nest elderly to be mostly lonely and lonely.They urgently need the joint efforts of their children and the outside world to provide spiritual support.The author selects X community in Changsha as a research site,with the assistance of community staff to conduct questionnaire surveys and in-depth interviews with empty nesters aged 60 years and over in the X community.Analyze the situation.The author carried out a more than two month social worker intervention service in the X community,using case work and group work methods,under the guidance of social work expertise and social support theory,to provide spiritual comfort services for rural empty nest elderly,and from the family At the three levels of community,government,and government,build a social support network for the empty-nest elderly,fill the emotional deficiencies of the empty-nest elderly,tap their potential,promote self-efficacy,and enrich their spiritual life.After case and group intervention,the author conducts intervention evaluation from three aspects: goal achievement degree,client satisfaction and social worker role evaluation.The evaluation results show that: under the guidance of social support theory,the use of case and group work methods can effectively improve the mental comfort of rural empty nest elderly.The intervention research of social workers on the spiritual comfort of the elderly in empty rural nests can arouse the attention of their children and society,give the elderly various spiritual support,and meet the elderly's needs for spiritual retirement.
