The Research On The Operation Process Of Resilience Of Left-behind Children Raised By Grandparents

This research from the Strength Perspective,with nine left-behind children raised by grandparents as the research object,using qualitative research methods,explored the risks and challenges the left-behind facing,how individual resilience works when the risks coming,further excavating the advantage of available resourses in the individual and the environment.The research is based on Richardson's resilience model,it is found that the operation process of the children's resilience is divided into four stages: The activation conditions,starting points,reconstruction and result.In the ressearch,when staying adversity,the left-behind children raised by grandparents need to face multiple risks,and the combination of internal and external risks play a role on individual children,so it constitutes the precondition for activating resilience;The children faced the internal and external risks,the original system is broken,the resilience was born from here.at this stage,children embodied in depressed,impulsive,resistance and other defensive protection;At the same time,the children and their external environment are a dynamic interaction,and the resilience operation to the reconstruction stage,in this stage,the interaction between the children and grandparents,the interaction between the children and other environments provide external support for children's resilience operation;Children's internal power provide internal support for the operation of the resilience,under the influence of internal and external support system,the the children's resilience achieves the result of "adaptation".The research found that in the stage of reconstruction,the internal forces of the left-behind children by grandparents play a decisive role in the operation of resilience,which is the core of resilience operation.The grandparents play a compensatory role in the operation of resilience.Based on this,it is proposed that we should focus on the inner strength of the left-behind children,strengthen the positive interaction between grandparents and individuals,and strengthen parental responsibilities and other measures to promote the development of resilience cultivation and intervention of left-behind children.
