| Recently,with the development of China’s industrialization and urbanization,the population flow constantly accelerates,and a large number of young and middle-aged rural labor force go out of the local area to work.However,Influenced by living,working and other factors,their children have to stay in their original residence,which results in a large number of left-behind children in rural areas.Due to the long absence of parents,parent-child relationship,parent-child support and family construction are greatly affected.Along with this,the emergence of the psychological development and corresponding problems in social development of left-behind children,which further affects their socialization and life development.Paying attention to the survival and development of left-behind children has always been an important topic of government,society and social work.With the increasing research on left-behind children in China,the government,society and scholars are all aware that the analysis and service of left-behind children under the"Problem Perspective" can no longer meet the overall development of them.From the perspective of strength,we should pay attention to advantages and resources,develop the cultivation of resilience and promote the ability to resist risks have gradually become an important way of social work services for left-behind children.Based on the local cultural environment,this study will take the Social Work Services of Left-behind Children in Community B as an example to analyze and study the cultivation of rural left-behind children’s resilience from the perspective of strength,explore the application of professional concepts,methods and skills contained in the local cultural environment in social work services of left-behind children.This paper is divided into seven parts:The part one is the introduction.Which includes the study’s background and purpose,as well as the definition of the core concepts——advantage perspective,left behind children and resilience;The second part is the literature review.We comprehensively review the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the concept,hypothesis and principle of advantage perspective,as well as the concept,elements,mode and practice of resilience cultivation;The third part is research design.Taking the project of left-behind children in community B as an example,we selected 12 left-behind children from 31 left-behind children in the community as the object of this research.Based on the perspective of strength,the research explores the cultivation of left-behind children’s resilience,also analyzes the risk factors,protection factors and potential resilience characteristics in their own and surrounding environment.And researchers should stand on the local ground,try to explore the available knowledge in the local environment.The study adopts the literature research method,semi-structured interview and participation observation method,master the relevant situation of project progress,the resilience cultivation of left-behind children through the existing project materials,service records and participation in social work service projects and interview records;The forth part is about the problems and dilemmas of the development of left-behind children in rural areas.We found that the main dilemmas are found in four aspects:insufficient family education,the dilemma of socialization’s development and the planning of life development through questionnaire and semi-structured interview.The fifth part is to analyze the resilience of left-behind children in rural areas from the perspective of strength.We found that left-behind children’s positive interpretation and strong autonomy of the "left-behind" status,as well as the family support,community support and peer support in the external environment,constitute the system of their resilience cultivation;The sixth part is the resilience cultivation.Starting from the two aspects of the rural left-behind children themselves and the external environment,taking the methods of group work and community work,and trying to embed the local knowledge(such as traditional culture);The seventh part is the research summary,reflection and suggestions.this paper studies the diversity of group’s needs and the lack of a positive interactive guarantee mechanism of "family school community",and puts forward the improving suggestions from the government,the construction of rural social workers and the comprehensive quality and ability of social workers. |
