Research On Group Work Intervention In Promotion Of Resilience Of Urban Left-behind Children

The number of urban left-behind children is increasing day by day,and it has become a group that can not be ignored in contemporary society.While the left-behind children in rural areas have received much attention,the left-behind children in urban areas have received less attention.Unlike the rural Left-behind children,urban left-behind children have better resources,but their psychological needs are not met well.Parent-child separation often leads to many psychological and behavioral problems.It has shown that the cultivation of resilience is of great significance to solve the problems of urban left-behind children.This paper is based on the theory of resilience and cognitive theory,with group work as the carrier,the needs of urban left-behind children as the basis,and the youth summer care project of Wuhan Q community as the practical basis.The ultimate goal is to promote the level of resilience of urban left-behind children.In this paper,the specific operation of resilience into a sense of self-identity,sense of purpose and social competence,based on which to provide resilience to enhance growth team services.After many group activities,through the comparison of pre-test and post-test,it is found that the resilience level of team members has been improved to a certain extent,and the team service has achieved certain results.Group work intervenes in the service field of urban left-behind children and promotes the resilience of urban left-behind children in Q community summer trusteeship class,which is the best choice to meet the characteristics and needs of left-behind children in the community.However,due to the characteristics of group work,there are still some problems such as the limited scope of service population,the lack of social workers'professional ability and the low cognition of social workers' role.Starting from the urban left-behind children,social workers and external available factors,this paper briefly discusses the suggestions of improving the professional skills of social workers,increasing the quality of social workers' service,strengthening the self-learning of urban left-behind children,providing resilience services by various subjects of families,schools and communities,increasing resilience of urban left-behind children and improving the coverage of services,so as to better improve urban left-behind children's resilience.
