A Study On The Rule Of Law In Teaching High School Ideological And Political Class

With the promulgation of the Education Guidelines for the Rule of Law in Primary and Secondary Schools,strengthening the rule of law in the ideological and political class of high school becomes the new proposition of the middle school politics education.The purpose of high school teaching for high school students is to enable them to master the constitution and legal knowledge and train the students’ ability to learn to use the law to protect legitimate rights and interests.As members of our society,they must shoulder,understand the duty of citizens,strengthen the law-abiding consciousness,guide the students to form the good habit of law-abiding,thus achieving self-discipline and promoting the healthy growth of students.Based on the practical teaching experience and first-hand questionnaires,this essay deals with the current law teaching in high school “Politics”.It analyses and summarizes the existent problems in the rule of law teaching of high school: the vague goals,the lack of systematic knowledge of rule of law teaching and a failure to effectively establish the inner spirit of rule of law teaching.Furthermore,despite the abundant knowledge of the three works,“Economy”,“Politics”and “Basic knowledge of law”,there are rare internal connection and logical coherence between them.The teaching goal of high school thought political lessons should be closely related to that of the rule of law teaching.By instructing the students teachers should enable the students to cultivate their legal quality and master a knowledge of this subject.The rule of rule combs the teaching content in the current textbooks and takes the constituent elements as the breakthrough point.In this way it has formed the new knowledge system of the high thought political lesson and the curriculum system of the rule of law,improving the teaching approaches of high school thought political lesson as well as achieving the teaching aim of high school education under the rule of law by making efforts.
