After the second world war,the new phenomenon of institutionalization,systematization and standardization emerged,which became an important field of international relations research.Since the Marshall plan became the first attempt to aid foreign aid,China and Japan have successively started foreign aid under different camps led by the United States and the Soviet union.The advantaged geographical position in southeast Asia is of great strategic importance and has become an object of increasing assistance between China and Japan.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the aid to southeast Asia has gone through a period of support for southeast Asian countries to strive for national independence.Stressing the adjustment period of "equality,mutual benefit and common development";Rapid development under the background of One Belt And One Road.At different times,China's emphasis on southeast Asian aid will be different,but China's foreign aid policy has always adhered to the concept of assistance with independent development and no political conditions attached.Chinese by the aid of southeast Asia in terms of political,economic,social,achieved results,such as promoted the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and southeast Asian countries China,promoted the Chinese restore the legitimate seat,promoted China's good national image,closely the development of trade and investment between the two sides and the development of economic and trade partnership,promoted the development of tourism culture on both sides.After the second world war,Japan experienced a process from the defeated country to the economic revival to the economic power and then to the political power.In the process,government development assistance has become an important means of developing diplomatic relations between Japan and southeast Asian countries.Japan's use of "compensation diplomacy" as the breakthrough point of the relationship between repair southeast Asia,"the trinity" of economic aid,investment and trade diplomatic push the economic and trade relations,Japan and southeast Asian countries with the establishment of Japan's economic power,Japan's foreign aid politics has become increasingly strong.Japan in southeast Asia aid made great achievements,such as completed war reparations,repair relations with southeast Asia,the close economic and trade relations between the two sides,establish a good image in the world,won over southeast Asia people,such as political,economic and social results.Papers in foreign aid introduction,with nearly 70 years after world war ii as the research period,the main back to aid the development of southeast Asia between China and Japan,summarizing and analyzing an overview of aid to southeast Asia in different periods;This paper makes a comparative study on the similarities and differences between Chinese and Japanese aid concepts to southeast Asia from three aspects of aid objectives,aid motivation and aid principles.A comparative study on the policy characteristics of china-japan aid to southeast Asia from three aspects of diplomacy,economy and security;From the political,economic and social aspects,this paper analyzes the effectiveness of china-japan aid to southeast Asia,and probes into the achievements and shortcomings of china-japan foreign aid.After world war ii,China and Japan both provided a lot of assistance to the development of southeast Asia.The political and social effects of Japan's aid to southeast Asia are better than those of China,especially because China's aid to southeast Asia has a lower image than Japan.Therefore,this paper aims to draw lessons from Japan's successful practical experience and put forward the initiative of "One Belt And One Road" in the new era to provide intellectual support for China to adjust and improve its aid policies in southeast Asia.
