Research On Prevention And Control Measures Of Cults In Dongguan

Cults are a kind of cancer and complex social phenomenon that breed in the development of human civilization,it destroys believers’ physical and mental health,destroys family harmony and even openly confronts the government,having become a public enemy.But the emergence,development and spread of the cults has a profound historical,cultural,economic and social roots.The cult will exist forever,the struggle against the cult will last forever.Dongguan,located in the pearl river delta,adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao,economically developed,numerous floating population,social security complex,at the forefront of opening up and fighting against the enemy,is a key area of infiltration and domestic activities of various cults,and the struggle against the cult is grim and complex.In recent years,the anti-cult work in Dongguan has effectively promoted the construction of local spiritual civilization and material civilization,but owing to various subjective and objective factors,the anti-cult work in Dongguan still has many problems and needs to be further improved.First of all,this paper gives an overview of the current,future and control situation of cults in Dongguan.Then,through field visit,literature,survey and combining with the author’s own work experience,this author analyses the problems of anti-cult work in Dongguan and the reasons causing the problems.At last,it gives some measures to prevent and control the cults in Dongguan,in order to build Dongguan into a “harmonious,happy,safe” city.
