As the home front of the northwest area of China during the Anti-Japanese War,Xinjiang is an important channel to keep in touch with the Soviet Union.In October1937,with the efforts of the Communist Party of China and Sheng Shicai's agreement,the Eighth Route Army's Office in Xinjiang was established in Dihua in order to ensure the international traffic line unblocked,to keep in touch with the Soviet Union and the Comintern,and to build Xinjiang into the home front of consolidation.During the Anti-Japanese War,the office in Xinjiang was actually the command center of the Chinese Communist Party in Xinjiang.The office led communists who work in the fields of finance,culture,education,news,public organizations and others in Xinjiang through assigning and directing,and it also led the communists in each department to facilitate the dissemination of Marxism taking advantage of their work.Under the leadership of the Eighth Route Army's office in Xinjiang,communists working in Xinjiang united,educated and influenced the surrounding masses with their own words and actions.They made a great contribution to the winning of the war against Japan and the prosperity of Xinjiang's cultural and educational undertakings as well as the early spread of Marxism in Xinjiang.The whole article consists of the introduction and the main text,the introduction is mainly about the background of the study and the relevant literature.The main text focuses on the following four parts:The first part is about the establishment of the Eighth Route Army Office in Xinjiang.It mainly introduces the general situation of the establishment of the Eighth Route Army Office in Xinjiang and stresses its main features,major work guidelines and tasks.It also focuses the contacts between the Eighth Route Army in Xinjiang and the Soviet Union and Yan'an.The second part is about the conditions of the dissemination of Marxism in Xinjiang by the Eighth Route Army Office.The article analyzed the implementationof Sheng Shicai's pro-Soviet policy and formulation of six major policies,which impelled the establishment of the National united front against Japan in Xinjiang to provide a politically favorable environment for the dissemination of Marxism.The revolution of 1911,the outbreak of the October Revolution and the related activities promoted the dissemination of advanced culture in Xinjiang and provided ideological and cultural conditions for the dissemination of Marxism.Meanwhile,the economy,the development of cities,and the establishment of industrial system in modern times provided the economic conditions and class basis for the dissemination of Marxism in Xinjiang.The third part is about the activities,characteristics and influences of the dissemination of Marxism by the Eighth Route Army Office in Xinjiang.By analyzing the activities of the Eighth Route office under the cover of the anti-Japanese national united front in Xinjiang,which developed through the education of colleges and universities,newspapers,the New Culture Movement in Xinjiang and the various non-governmental organizations,the article summarized the the features of the dissemination of Marxism under the special political,economic and cultural environment.It mainly focuses on the important impact on Xinjiang's social development brought by the Eighth Route Army Office.The fourth part is the key part of the article,it is about the enlightenment from the practice of Marxism in Xinjiang.The occurrence of a historical event and the practice of historical activities have an impact not only on the society under the historical conditions but also on the development of today's society.The Eighth Route Army's Office in Xinjiang played an irreplaceable role and had great significance in the early dissemination of Marxism in Xinjiang during the Anti-Japanese War.The ways,the means and the influences that the office had to spread Marxism at that time are what we should learn from for today's ideological and political education and the spirit education of communists.
