As a special vulnerable group,persons with disabilities are unable to live,study and work normally because of physical handicaps.In order to enable them to have a better living environment,improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities and increase the enjoyment of their rights,it is necessary to use professional methods and techniques of social work to intervene in the research of rehabilitation services for persons with disabilities.In recent years,with the improvement of people's living standards,the Government has provided more and better policy benefits for the disabled in society.However,because of the large population base of the disabled in our country,many groups with disabilities do not enjoy the preferential welfare policies of the Government very well,and the quality of life of many persons with disabilities is still very low.This paper makes a further study on the social work involved in the rehabilitation of disabled people and finds ways to improve their living conditions.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview and observation to write the thesis.By investigating the existing situation of disabled people in huadu district of Guangzhou city,this paper analyzes their problems,and analyzes the strategies to solve them.Through literature research and research,this paper has studied some strategies to solve the existing problems of disabled people.Based on the theory of empowerment and the theory of social support,this paper promotes the empowerment of the disabled in employment,medical care,education and psychology.And to foster community awareness of the empowerment of persons with disabilities;And to increase the capacity of the community to help and expand the network of support for the community groups with disabilities.
