The Research Of The Rural-urban Migrant Workers' Behavior And Guiding Strategies For Urban Household Registration

Urbanization is an objective trend and the only way for economic development.It is an important symbol of the modernization.Household registration reform is the key to the citizenship.Based on this,the CPC Central Committee deepened the reform of the household registration system and actively introduced series of documents to promote the urbanization of the agricultural population.However,the rural-urban migrant workers' intention to register urban household is not high,and the process of urbanization is developing slowly.Therefore,it is a realistic problem that needs to be discussed and solved,and it is also the point of this study,through investigations to discover the influencing factors that affect the rural-urban migrant workers' intention to settle down,thereby increasing their intention to settle and promoting the implementation of their urban settlement activities.The purpose is to study the behavior of rural-urban migrant workers for urban household,and to explore the relationship between the impact factors and their intention and behavior.The main contents are as follows:(1)According to the review,this paper builds a theoretical model of the influencing factors of the migrant workers' urban settlement behavior based on the theory of planned behavior.(2)Based on the in-depth interviews with some representative rural-urban migrant workers in the previous period,using foreign mature scales,developed a measurement scale that meets the requirements of this study,completed the preparation of questionnaires,and conducted a questionnaire survey.(3)Using professional data processing software SPSS20.0 and AMOS17.0 to verify the survey data,and empirical test results Conduct discussion and analysis.(4)Combining with the conclusions,we will explore the policies and recommendations for improving the rural-urban migrant workers' intention and promoting the implementation of rural-urban migrant workers' behavior for registering urban household.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)It shows that urban household benefits have a significant positive effect on the settlement intention,while rural household benefits have a significant negative effect on the settlement intention.(2)It shows that parental support and children's education have a significant positive effect on the willingness to settle the family,and the family migrant tradition has no significant effect on the settlement intention.(3)It shows that income perception has a significant positive effect on the willingness to settle and settlement,and that policy understanding has a significant positive effect on the willingness to settle and settle.(4)The empirical research results show that the settlement intention has an intermediary role in income perception and the relationship between policy understanding and settlement behavior,and the theory of planned behavior has a good explanatory power for explaining the migrant workers' urban settlement behavior.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the rural-urban migrant workers' behavior from the perspective of the government and migrant workers.The government should solve the worries of migrant workers.For migrant workers,efforts should be made to improve self-improvement,improve economic capabilities,and better settle in cities.
