A Study Of The Reports On Ethnic Minorities In Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Area Newspapers And Its Enlightment To Today' Media

The newspaper in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region is an important part of the development of journalism in the early stage of our Party.The “pen” is the same important battle weapon as the “gun pole”.The newspaper in Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region was a public opinion weapon during the revolutionary struggle of our Party in the period of Yan'an,and played a great role in the great struggle to promote the historical process of the Chinese revolution.This paper,based on the publicity and reports of the Red China Newspaper,the New China Newspaper,the Jiefang Daily and the Communists' newspapers and periodicals to the minority people,aims to arrange the reports of the border newspapers on the party's ethnic and religious policies,the production and life of the related minority people,and the religious beliefs and the cultural and educational undertakings.This thesis shows that the frontier newspapers played an important role in reporting the construction of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region and the cause of the revolutionary struggle,promoting the Party's policy,publicizing the masses to launch the masses,gathering consensus and unifying the thought,and advocating the unity of all ethnic groups to resist against Japanese aggression.The author has long been engaged in the news work,and deeply recognizes that there are some problems in the current media coverage of the issues related to the ethnic minorities.Therefore,this thesis combines the practice of journalism with the theoretical knowledge of ethnology,read historical materials for reference and learn from the experience of historical reports,and reports from the newspapers of the Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia border region to the related minority people.This thesis finds many revelations to today's media reports,and advocates that the current media,based on the basic national conditions of a unified multi-ethnic country,should report the related contents of the related minority groups and their cultural beliefs with objectivity comprehensively and scientifically,spread positive energy,enhance national understanding,and reduce cultural misreading or even misunderdtanding among ethnic groups.And therefore,our national unity could be promoted.
