Guangzhou City Traffic Management Research

Urban transportation is the artery of the city,is a key factor of urban development.Urban traffic is smooth or not about the city's economic development and social livelihood of the people.Traffic brings to the urban economic vitality,bring people convenience,also brought some problems,such as traffic jams.Both restricts the development of economy,and reduce the degree of the happiness of the people's life.Therefore,it is very urgent to solve the problem of traffic congestion,the traffic congestion management is conducive to make reasonable decision by the competent authorities of transport and reduce the occurrence of congestion.Guangzhou city as the capital city of guangdong province,near Hong Kong and macau,is in the south of China economy,finance,logistics,shipping center,the traffic capacity and bearing capacity in the front rank in the whole country.Traffic congestion has long been a problem in guangzhou city,guangzhou city characteristics and typical traffic condition,therefore in guangzhou as an example to solve the problem of urban traffic management,have certain representativeness.In this paper,the methods of literature research and questionnaire survey,based on the nature,type,features of urban traffic congestion,we summarized the status quo and analysis,combined with the basic situation of road traffic in guangzhou,guangzhou traffic congestion management is put forward the main existing public transport development is not balanced and lag,the traffic supply and demand imbalances,road traffic planning such as lack of forward-looking and congestion management level to enhance,the cause of the problems mainly include: urban planning not scientific distribution of traffic volume,traffic congestion,governance mechanism of public participation in policy making is not reasonable,lack of traffic policy accountability mechanism and the lack of a global regulatory powers to fix platform.Finally,in the big cities at home and abroad for reference,the effective mode and measures of the traffic rule,on the basis of combining the theory of public administration and traffic supply theory as the instruction,from the perspective of government governance,accordingly put forward combining with the urban planning to optimize the design of the traffic network,increase the intensity of road traffic management,and improve policies for traffic congestion management mechanism and so on concrete countermeasures are put forward,to ease traffic congestion and has a certain reference value.
