Compatriots across the straits should be blood brothers sharing the destiny and they should be a family that blood is thicker than water.However,Taiwan and mainland are always in separation for all kinds of historic reason and modern factors.They do not talk with each other fluently and they have vogue cognition with prejudice.In recent years,along with the increasing deepening of the communication in the two sides of the Taiwan Straits,the scale of Taiwan students in mainland is larger and larger and they have been important force of cooperation of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.They are button of the communication of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.The cognition situation of Taiwan students in the mainland to the image of mainland is important problem that we focus.The paper takes the concept frame of Configuration Sociology and the cognition of Taiwan students in the mainland on the image of mainland is key point.There is key analysis on the specific performance of the routinization of cognition of Taiwan students in the mainland on the image of mainland and the reason of the routinization of cognition and the tension of cognition of Taiwan students in the mainland with the historical configuration fluctuations between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits will be discussed in the paper.The paper finds that the soaring economic construction,struggling young people,lagging humanities environment,and conflicting educational concepts on both sides of the Strait have been collective description of the image of the mainland of Taiwan students in the mainland.There is obvious routinization characteristic to the recognition in the cognition of the students and there are some ambivalences,such as envy and unwilling,self-esteem and conceit,pursuit of development and feeling peaceful in life.The weakening of Taiwan's political authority,the transfer of daily life of the students in the mainland,the shaping of family education of the students in their speech and behavior and the emotional preference of local complex to image cognition are the reasons to cause the routinization of the students' cognition of the image of mainland.The paper also expands the application scope of Elias' s configuration sociology to explore the relationship between the powerful and the weak groups in the two sides of the Taiwan Straits in different historic period from the aspect of the balance of We-Self.The cohesion of Taiwan's local culture,the attraction of mainland development opportunities and the strong centripetal force of the Chinese nation form the cognition tension of the multilayer balance of We-Cognition of the Taiwan students in the mainland.The real image of the mainland in the heart of Taiwan students described in the paper reveals the forming reason and mechanism of the image cognition of the mainland.The tension of the awareness in Taiwan region and that of Chinese nation will be explored to have a deeper knowledge of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits.There is powerful realistic significance in the aspect of enhancing mutual understanding and building up trust relationship as well as further strengthenin g of centripetal force of the new generation of young people in Taiwan to the motherland.
