Research On The Role Of Local Government In Enterprises Fulfilling Environmental Responsibility

Environmental protection is a fundamental national policy in China.In the operation process of the enterprise,the environmental protection is a social responsibility that must be fulfilled.As a supervisory unit,the government should take the initiative to urge the enterprise to consciously perform its environmental responsibility.In terms of enterprises performing their environmental responsibilities,the Chinese government has successively introduced various policies in recent years.Although some achievements have been made by these policies,we must be clearly aware that the national ecological civilization and green development strategy are further improving,and the public demand for the beautiful ecological environment is increasing,especially the prevention and control of pollution is listed as one of the three major battles during the decisive period of building a well-off society in an all-round way.Therefore,the environmental protection situation will become increasingly severe,and the protection task will become even heavier,and the pressure of pollution prevention and control will also rise.However,the role of local government is not fully utilized when the enterprises perform the environmental responsibility.There are many reasons accounting for this.For example,the local government lacks the scientific development concept and performance concept,relevant laws and regulations are not well-organized,and the construction of environmental protection agencies is weak and the environmental law enforcement capacity is insufficient.The government can start rectification and improvement from various perspectives to improve the role of the government in enterprises fulfilling environmental responsibility.In this paper,Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group is taken as an example to explore the status quot of enterprises performing the environmental responsibility from the perspective of the government,the weakness and deficiency of the government in the process of enterprises fulfilling responsibility are analyzed,and the targeted solutions and suggestions are proposed.
