Research On Economic And Trade Cooperation Between China And The Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Since the establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO),it has got remarkable achievements in aspect of political diplomacy,economic cooperation and regional security.After President Xi Jinping proposed the One Belt One Road Initiative in 2013.It received the positive responses and broad supports from the other SCO member countries.Each member state of the SCO is geographically on the multilateral economic cooperation corridor of One Belt One Road Initiative.As a founding member of the SCO,China should firmly gfasp the historical opportunities of One Belt One Road Initiative to stimulate the growth momentum,expand space for development and jointly promote the overall advancement of the regional economic development level.This article has deeply analyzed the status and development of the economic and trade cooperation between China and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.The study found the trends of the frequent economic and trade cooperation,the diversification of economic and trade cooperation form and the increasingly perfect regional cooperation coordination mechanism over the past 16 years.China and other members state of SCO are developing cooperation in energy,agricultural,finance and transportation.At present,the development of economic and trade cooperation between China and the SCO is facing a series of problem such as the inadequate of found and financial support,unreasonable distribution of foreign investment country and industries,the difficulty in integrating after the expansion of the organization and harsh challenges from any other regional international organizations.The reasons for the problems mentioned is the weakness of the financial systems of the SCO members state;the differences in the basic national conditions of the SCO members state;the differences in the national interests of the member state;the western countries are scrambling for Central Asia;Regarding present problems in the development of the economic and trade cooperation between China and the SCO.A series of countermeasures and suggestions are given,promoting the role of the SCO Development Bank in financial support;optimizing the investment structure and investment methods;improving the organizational system after recruiting new members;improving the political discourse of the organization.
