The Study On China-Myanmar Economic Cooperation In Belt And Road Initiative

The main focus of the paper is bilateral economic relations between Myanmar and Peoples Republic of China under the Belt and Road Initiative.Myanmar is a very strategic and economic country for China and also situated as a trading outlet to the Indian Ocean.According to this point,Myanmar is essential to achieve not only Chinese strategic presence in the India Ocean but also her long-term two oceans objectives.China is the second largest economic power country around the world,and even China is the largest both trade partner and investor in Myanmar.Due to the lower level of Myanmar's infrastructure,most of the people are laying the daily goods from China because the prices of Chinese goods are very suitable for Myanmar.In trading,China and Myanmar rely the border economic zone and border trading thus the stability of border area of Myanmar with China is important for both of these countries so that China position in Myanmar's peace process is very strategic for Myanmar.Therefore,this study would give how China is an important position for Myanmar's economy as well as Myanmar's peace building and national reconciliation process.This analysis,which employed secondary data analysis and literature review analysis approaches,explored and examined how Chinese investment and China trades with Myanmar would support Myanmar's economic transformation under the China belt and Road Initiative.And,border trading is how much important for Myanmar's economy especially with China.And,China relation with Myanmar is how significant for China and Myanmar economic and trade cooperation and also China Belt and Road Initiative.This research would examine that Myanmar economic transformation and Myanmar's economy will improve or not by collaboration the China-Myanmar commercial corridor which is related to China's BRI.Besides,this corridor will support to the human resources,job opportunities,technology,infrastructure and people to people exchange for Myanmar's people.This investigation will seek to Enhance and Improve the Cooperation in BRI Myanmar has unbalanced trade with China and how could Myanmar maintain to decrease the deficits of trade with China.
