A Study Of Confucian "People-Based" Thought And Its Enlightenment To China’s Democratic Politics Construction

The thought of the people-based which in China’s traditional political thought is the most important and the most exciting discussion,in short,the thought of the people-based means all kinds of policies formulated by the state to the interests of the people as the value orientation.The thought of people-based first came into being in the pre Qin period of China,and the reason for its emergence and development was consistent with the economic,political,cultural and social organizational conditions of the traditional Chinese society.This paper expounds the reasons,thoughts of the people from the four aspects:the peasant economy occupies the dominant position,"Morality-first" political governance model,the pursuit of "Wang Dao" in political thought and family ethics in model democratic ideology makes people have a further thinking on the thought of the people-based.The focus of this paper is to put the thought of the people-based and the western democratic thought of comparative study,the innovation of this paper,which is in contrast to the thought of the people-based and the western democratic ideas to avoid that general sense of the democratic is better than the people-based thought,and,in contrast with the thought of the people-based and the western democratic thought,attributed to the more specific in the western political system,avoid discussing purely metaphysical ideology.The thought of the people-based and the western democratic ideas according to western social and cultural soil and produce,from the source,are based on different assumptions of and western political theory,the characteristics of the construction of Western democracy is:the electoral system based on multi-party parliamentary politics;the party competition based on power balance theory;the public opinion supervision system based on the individual freedom;the civil society organizations which based on the community life.We must understand the construction of the socialist democratic politics of China and the Western democratic political construction is not the same,China construction of socialist democratic politics is more inheriting the traditional political thought on.This requires Chinese democratic political construction must pay attention to the following points:(1)the construction of a strong core of leadership,is to strengthen the construction of the Communist Party of China;(2)the construction of clean and efficient civil servants team,to improve the modem civil servants from the election,as the institutional arrangements and assessment;(3)to strengthen the administrative system of public participation,to establish positive interaction between administrative system and the masses of the people;(4)social supervision of the authority of government,especially the development of the use of modern Internet technology,people to supervise government power operation using modern information technology.A correct understanding of the construction of the people-based thought of China’s democratic politics will has a significant role in grasping the world political discourse,and only in the correct understanding and inherit the theory premise,we can look in the development trend of the world in his seat,can strengthen its own direction of development,to realize the socialist modernization the goal of construction and realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
