Chinese Traditional People-based Thought And Modern Value

People-based thought is the most important constituent of Chinese tradition political ideas.It is the central status in the Chinese tradition political philosophy,the unique beautiful flower in the world history of civilization.It origins from the Xia Shang Zhou generations,its first meaning is "the people is the only foundation of the state," it has passed through the China's ancient times.It had formed theory system because of the development and the practice.People is the only foundation of the state,people is more important than the monarch,the monarch is like a boat,and people is like the water,the ruling of the monarch is by moral.And so on.They are classified as the People-based thought.In a greater degree,the People-based thought is one kind of governing measures,therefore,we can say,people-based thought has the positive influence to the China historical development and the social progress,it coordinated society's contradictory between the monarch and people in the long feudal society,it had limited and the softened the tyranny,it had cultivated" virtuous sensible personage " and" wise monarch."
