The Personal Safety Of Left-behind Children In Rural Areas Of Shao Yang County And Countermeasure Research

With the advancement of urbanization in China,more and more rural laborers choose to work in cities.However,due to the restrictions of household registration system and other related factors,these children of migrant workers often cannot come to the city to enter and live with their parents.This has formed the phenomenon of rural left-behind children in China.More importantly,left-behind children are in a critical period of anticipation of socialization,but in this process,due to inadequate supervision,it has caused the personal safety of left-behind children.This problem is being solved by the current society.Keep paying attention.The issue of the personal safety of left-behind children is not only related to the healthy growth of left-behind children,but also to the development of the entire rural areas and the progress of society in China,and to the future of China’s socialist new rural construction.In order to fully understand the current situation of rural left-behind children’s personal safety,this study is based on the social support theory and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,and goes deep into the rural families in Shao Yang County,Hunan Province.Through questionnaires and interviews,the children’s safety of rural left-behind children in the county is known.The situation and the cases that have occurred have found that there are great risks in the personal safety of left-behind children in rural areas.The basic security needs of left-behind children are largely unsatisfied,and they also clearly recognize the existing personal safety problems of left-behind children in rural areas.The reason is that the social support network is imperfect or even lacking.Therefore,the author starts from the basic point of perfecting the social support network for rural left-behind children,and based on the characteristics of socially supported personal resources and social resources,combined with the multi-subjects of social support networks-family,school,government and social organizations,The countermeasures to solve the safety problem of left-behind children in rural areas.In order to provide reference for the majority of left-behind children’s families,society,schools and government departments to understand and solve the problem of left-behind children in rural areas.
