| Left behind children in rural areas is a special group in the process of social development in China,for the family and society,their healthy growth is particularly important.Along with the deepening of reform and opening up,China’s rural population flows to the city on a large scale,confined to urban and rural dual economic system restrictions,the cost of the family moved to the city is too high,rural families can only choose one or both parents to go out to work and their children will stay at home.The expantion of rural left-behind children population in parent-child separation condition expanding has lead to the rural left-behind children problems which caused the wide attention from society.Among them social support relationship with the left-behind children’s psychological behavior problems become the focus of researchers.The study generally agreed that the social support system had a significant impact on the growth of left-behind children.Improve the effective social support system to make up for the child-child separation caused by the lack of family function.In order to understand the status quo of social support for children left behind in rural areas and the problems caused by them,this paper chooses the typical rural cases in Longxian County of Shaanxi Province.Based on the theory of social support,the present situation and characteristics of social support for rural children left in Longxian County and their impact on left-behind children was analyzed by questionnaire and participatory observation.Through the analysis of the questionnaire,the social support status of the left-behind children in Longxian County is mainly expressed as follows: First,parents migrate longer and far away,the low return home and contact frequency leads to the long-term child-child separation state,affect the integrity of the family.The guardian neglects the emotional care of the left-behind children to weaken the traditional family support function.Second,the lack of resources restricts the diversification of rural school support.The school teachers are weak,the teaching concept is backward,and the performance as the main standard makes the school lack the attention of the children left behind,the school re-socialization function is insufficient.Third,backward economy influence the support consciousness and action of the rural communities and village cadres.Community cadres and villagers believe that migrant workers are forced by the economic situation,left-behind children do not need special attention.They do not have the consciousness and action to help left-behind children.Fourth,peer advantage enhance the emotional support of the peer group,but due to lack of guidance,children left behind vulnerable groups of subcultures induced puppy love,addicted to Internet cafes,fighting and other deviation behavior.In addition,other support for children left behind is inadequate.The lack of social support for left-behind children led to the weakening of children’s family education and the insufficient of school re-socialization,security requirements are not satisfied and produce the physical and mental health problems such as depression,anxiety,loneliness,and interpersonal problems.The problem of social support for left-behind children is the separation of parent-child in the process of population movement.The main reasons are the restriction of the policy system in the social development stage,the urban-rural income gap which is the driving force of the parents to be the urban migrant workers,the difficult that the Left-behind children follow their parents to the urban in the process of urbanization and unbalanced resources.Left-behind children and parents in the situation of separation between urban and rural areas and can not enjoy the same social welfare which led to the emergence of the problem.The healthy growth of left-behind children is important for rural family happiness and social harmony,must be put forward positive and effective measures to solve the problem of children left behind.From the perspective of social support,by promoting and ensuring the urbanization and urbanization of children,enhancing rural endogenous precision development capacity by poverty alleviation,strengthening the custody responsibility of left behind children’s parents,optimizing rural school education and promoting the moral support of neighborhood folks to improve the left-behind children social support to promote their healthy. |
