Since the 1990s,the Internet has been booming. On the one hand, the Internet has changed people's lifestyle;on the other hand,it has brought about changes in people's political attitudes, values and other psychological aspects.Among them, the emergence of the Internet has updated the ways and channels of mass media, and brought about the enhancement of people's self-expression consciousness such as online political inquiry and online political participation. However, the emergence of social phenomena such as online rumors and online violence also reflects some problems. In this context, has the use of the Internet contributed to the transformation of political culture? What changes have taken place in contemporary Chinese political culture? Is there a trend of intergenerational difference and intergenerational replacement? To this end, this paper takes the three-year data of China's comprehensive survey(CGSS2005,2010,2015)as the sample,USES the method of multiple regression to analyze whether Internet use has an impact on political culture, and combines the intergenerational difference and the intergenerational replacement theory to describe the changes and paths of contemporary Chinese political culture. The study found that from 2005 to 2015,modernization is the basic direction of China's political culture change:first, the use of the Internet to have affected the transformation of political culture, namely the Internet use of perception with the influence of the transitional government's work, weakened the people's political trust, promote the formation of the materialistic values, which makes people more inclined to express themselves, remarkable increase of gender equality, freedom of speech and more emphasis on the pursuit of self-realization in the work, more forgiving of others'non-mainstream behavior and so on.Meanwhile, the influence of Internet use on the political culture of different intergenerational groups is different.Secondly,in the three dimensions of political culture, the perception of government work tends to be constantly improved, political trust tends to decline, and post-materialism tends to appear in values.Third, the three dimensions of political culture are intergenerational differences and show the trend of intergenerational replacement.
