Analysis Of Ukrainian-Chinese Military Cooperation Since The End Of The Cold War

After the end of the Cold War,Ukraine became an independent state in the international arena.Because of significant changes in the post-Soviet international landscape the confrontation between the world's two biggest powers was over.Ukraine as a new sovereign independent state entered a new phase of interaction with the international community,Ukraine is one of the most developed republics of the former Soviet Union,and its military industry is very powerful too:aviation,space industry,shipbuilding,weapons and other industries are at the forefront of technologies.Ukraine inherited from the Soviet Union a very large military-technical industrial complex,and therefore Ukraine has a great attraction for Western and Asian countries.Today,military-technical issues remain the top priority for Ukraine and China to maintain a friendly,strategic and close relationship between the two countries and enhance the effective cooperation between Ukraine and China.In this situation,further research and exploration of post-Soviet relations of Ukraine and China military cooperation,military technology development,an assessment of the dynamics and obstacles of military cooperation between the two countries,summarizing the achievements of military-technical cooperation that Ukraine and China have accumulated over the years,all of these have a great practical significance for strengthening strategic,mutual trust between Ukraine and China and the further development of military cooperation between the two countries.The research idea of the paper is based on a review of the history of Ukrainian-Chinese military cooperation,analysis of the current situation of military cooperation between the two countries,comparison of the basic features of Ukrainian-Chinese military industry and technology fields,analysis of the content and results of Ukrainian-Chinese military cooperation since the end of the Cold War.While analyzing the history and current situation of military cooperation between Ukraine and China,this paper expounds the concepts and related theories of international security,new variables of international security and theories of international cooperation as the theoretical basis of this research.Analyze the prospects of future military-technical cooperation between Ukraine and China,new points of military cooperation between the two countries,as well as give considerations and proposals for further strengthening of military cooperation between the two countries.Ukraine sees China as one of the most important partners in the field of military-technical cooperation.At the same time,Ukraine is also a very important country for China because of its powerful military and technical equipment.In recent years,because of the growing contradictions between Ukraine and Russia,military cooperation in Ukraine faces new circumstances and challenges.After the Crimean crisis of 2014,mutual trust between Ukraine and China significantly decreased.Therefore,the main purpose of studying this issue is to push the pragmatic cooperation between Ukraine and China to new heights,eliminate misunderstanding between the two countries,strengthen strategic mutual trust and create favorable conditions for the further development of military cooperation between Ukraine and China.The article proposes to define main directions and forms of military-technical cooperation between Ukraine and China,define the advantages and disadvantages of this field and analyze the impact of military-technical cooperation on relations between Ukraine and China.In the future study of military cooperation between Ukraine and China,it is necessary to combine the latest research results in this field with an in-depth understanding of the potential direction for cooperation;it's also important to keep up with the times,to pay attention to the current situation of Ukrainian-Chinese development,to fully grasp the power of cooperation between the two countries and new growth points,and to adjust the foreign policy of the two countries in a timely manner in accordance with the different projects and strategic needs.
