Research On Performance Evaluation Of The Grid-based Management Of Community Policing

Community policing in countryside,not only is an important carrier for mass work of public security,but also the grassroots work of police service.Along with the development of economy and the great movement of population,traditional community policing is difficult to satisfy with the request of the modern governance system.In recent years,many public security organs have innovated their way to promote the reform of community policing.A more prominent approach is implementing the grid-based management of community policing.The implementation of grid-based management can put police force under,put police affairs forward.At the same time,it can intensify the work of serving masses,information collection,population management,and public security prevention.In conclusion,the grid-based management rmay help to maintain the security and to keep the peace.Whether the grid-based management achieves the expected goals,whether there are problems,whether it is helpful to promote the transformation and upgrading of urban and rural community policing,and whether people have higher satisfaction,we need to consider from many aspects.For these reasons,this article make effective assessment about the performance evaluation on grid-based management based on Quanzhou city,with the purpose of improving the grid-based management of community policing.Firstly,this article sums up the fundamental concept of grid-based management of community policing.Secondly,it comprehensive analysis the present situation of the grid-based management of community policing in Quanzhou city.Then,it sets up a performance evaluation system of the grid-based management includes 3 first-grade indexes,8 second-grade indexes,24 three-grade indexes.By using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),the weights of indexes are ascertained.Again,by using no-dimension analysis,we can evaluate the performance evaluation system of the grid-based management of community policing,it is concluded that the effectiveness is in a good level,then we can analyze the problems.In the end,centering around the following three points:optimizing police force allocation,strengthening the police force and integrating information resources,it proposes measures and suggestions for improving of the grid-based management of community policing.
