Performance management is an important measure in the process of government management innovation.Government performance management is the only way to promote the transformation and development of government and build a law-based and clean government.The modernization of national governance system is inseparable from the important role of tax work.Tax departments play an important role in national economic management.Therefore,performance management in tax departments not only meets the urgent need of government reform and development,but also serves the overall situation of economic and social development.The tax department carries out top-down performance management.Through the formulation of performance management indicators and the implementation of assessment,the work efficiency of the department can be significantly improved,the vitality of the cadre team can be fully stimulated,and the healthy development of the tax system can be promoted.This article mainly USES literature research,questionnaire investigation,empirical analysis and other research methods,in the performance of the government and tax authorities at home and abroad related index system research journal for reference,on the basis of combination of Z city tax department in 2015 to 2017,this time,the performance index system of actual running status and the existing problems,an in-depth look at performance appraisal system,indicators,as well as the progress of execution,etc,in order to promote effectively solve the problem in performance evaluation indicators,Specific measures can be started from the following aspects:improvement of performance appraisal indicator system,improvement of performance management consensus,strict implementation of performance appraisal and continuous improvement of performance management.On a theoretical level,there has been a great deal of adjustment and optimization from 2015.In the specific practice process,it is necessary to further improve the performance management appraisal execution.On the whole,there are three innovations in the research.First,the data is complete and detailed.The actual data of the tax department of zhaotong city is used as the research data of this paper.Second,the method is novel,and the common performance appraisal methods are elaborated in detail.Thirdly,it has strong operability.Based on the problems in the performance assessment indicators of tax departments in zhaotong city,this paper proposes targeted solutions,which are closely combined with the practical work of performance management and have strong operability.
