Feasibility Study On The Establishment Of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Course By CIPUC

The course of police tactics training is an important part of quality-oriented education in public security university.Thus it is compelling obligations for each policing practice instructor in public security university to explore ways on defence and control skills fitting the current social trend,meanwhile the ways also should possess stronger practical function for public security.By studying the external manifestation and connotation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,this paper focuses on understanding from policing practice instructor and students in Criminal Investigation Police University of China(CIPUC)to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.And the paper takes defence and control course as the research object with literature review method,questionnaire method,mathematical statistics method as well as expert interview method.At last,it draws the following conclusions:1.The students in CIPUC highly understand the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu,and are interested in it.They have so good physical condition that relevant course can be easily spread in the campus.2.The infrastructure of course in CIPUC are comparatively perfect that the university has the qualification to set up the course of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.3.The faculty structure of CIPUC is reasonable,which benefits the development of the course.4.The technical features of Brazilian Jiu-jitsu can better make up the drawbacks on ground control skills of policing defence and control.5.Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is of great value and practicality set up in public security university.According to the conclusions above,the paper submits the following proposals:1.It is suggested that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu be offered,Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu course should stand out the feature of public security and policing practice.2.Further enhance comprehensive professional quality and ability of the policing practice course instructor,and reserve more teachers for establishing the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu course.3.Improve infrastructure in teaching facility,and ensure the teaching safety of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as the teaching quality.4.Improve security mechanism of training safety,then reduce the limitations in setting up the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu course and exercise risk in the teaching process.5.Continue to increase the publicity,and raise university leaders' attention to the course of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu6.Take Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu course in CIPUT as example,and explore appropriate ‘police jujitsu' to meet the need of the law enforcement,so that to achieve the popularization of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu activity among the public security universities.
