Study On The Evolution Of The Identity Of Local Residents In Ethnic Tourism Destinations Under The Influence Of Tourism

In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,China has developed rapidly.Tourism,as an emerging industry,is gradually growing into a pillar industry of China's economic development.At the present stage of our economic transformation,the tourism industry is playing an increasingly important role,especially in the last few years,it has been a trend of the reverse.As the main conflict of modern socialism in our country became a conflict between the people's ever-increasing need for a better life and the unbalanced inadequate development,which indicates that people pursue more spiritual pursuits while greatly improving their material level in production and life,that triggers the arrival of the era of mass tourism.In the era of mass tourism,people's tourism needs will be more diversified.China is a country with a large number of ethnic groups,and there are 56 recorded ethnic groups.Moreover,most of these ethnic groups show the characteristics of large mixed residence and small settlement in geographical distribution,thus ethnic tourism destinations emerge at the historic moment.Ethnic tourism destination is a kind of tourist destination with the tourism resources of ethnic minorities as the core attraction.Its main residents are mostly ethnic minorities,with unique ethnic culture and scenery.However,the rapid development of tourism will have various tourism impacts on tourist destination,mainly classified as economic impact,social & cultural impact and environmental ecological impac.The ethnic regions,economic,social and cultural environment are relatively fragile,the industrial structure is single,the residents are sensitive to the perception of tourism impact,the local attachment sensation is strong,so that the evolution of the identity is not a problem that cannot be ignored for the development of national tourism and the protection of the cultural ecology of the ethnic group.Based on this,this paper takes the local residents of Labuleng town,Xiahe county,Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture as an example.On the basis of combing and sorting out the previous research literature,the field research has been conducted many times and the valuable first-hand data was obtained.Through social cultural geography and anthropology perspective,using the method of literature review,sampling survey method,depth interviews,participatory observation and other methods in the five aspects of research,they are the root analysis of the evolution of resident identity,constructs the theory model of the evolution of resident identity,analysis the characteristics of the evolution of resident identity,analysis the influence factors of the evolution of resident identity and influence of the evolution of resident identity on the development of the tourism destination,in order to enrich the theoretical framework of research on identity in theory.The innovation lies in applying the grounded theory to analyze and sort out the qualitative materials and constructing the theoretical model framework of the evolution of resident identity.Through the single factor analysis method,the paper analyzes the factors affecting the evolution of resident identity,and constructs the influencing factor system of the evolution of resident identity.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)by combing the interview materials,the evolution of resident identity hasthree core categories,namely,the evolution of individual identity,social identity and national identity.(2)the evolution of local residents' identity is caused by the evolution of residents' individual identity,social identity and national identity.(3)the characteristics of the evolution of resident identity are mainly from the simple and honest to the worship of money and utility;From complacency to self-motivation;From herding and farming to multiple occupations.The transmutation features in the social level are mainly the appearance of social role conflict;The status of women gradually improved;Consumer demand has become more diversified.The transmutation characteristics at the level of ethnic groups are mainly the profound influence of religious belief.National pride is more evident;National symbols are dying out.(4)the influencing factors of resident identity evolution can be divided into four categories according to the degree of influence,which are main influencing factors,secondary influencing factors,general influencing factors and marginal influencing factors.(5)the positive impact of the evolution of residents' identity on the development of tourism destinations is mainly reflected in the following three aspects: residents have a stronger sense of ownership;The contradiction between host and guest decreases;Regional tourism development was made more smoothly.The negative impact of the evolution of resident identity on the development of tourism destinations is mainly reflected in the following two aspects: the characteristics of ethnic tourism destinations weaken;visitor satisfaction decreases.
