The Intervention Study On The Improvement Of Community Residents' Participation Ability In Poverty Alleviation Through Tourism

With the arrival of the moment of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects in 2020,China's poverty alleviation has entered the final critical period.Under the new situation,"industrial poverty alleviation",as an important guiding ideology of China's anti-poverty cause,has made great contributions to China's poverty alleviation cause.However,problems such as poor cultural quality,low skill level and weak subjective initiative are obstacles in the way of poverty alleviation.The most important part of tourism poverty alleviation is the poverty of the industry,its core is maximum,mobilize the enthusiasm and initiative of poverty population out of poverty,stimulate the internal motivation,promote the concept of poverty and anti-poverty ability construction,to play the advantages of local resources endowment,drive the participation of residents high-level tourism poverty alleviation project to promote the development of local social economy.This paper is based on the research on the combination of poverty alleviation through tourism,community participation and social work practice.Based on the field survey observation and interview at the early stage,the author understands the perception of poverty alleviation through tourism from the discourse of poverty alleviation workers and poor households,and analyzes the current situation,problems and needs of residents' participation in tourism.It is found that the main problems existing in residents' participation in tourism poverty alleviation are: lack of self-confidence,weak subjective initiative;Low level of professional knowledge and skills in tourism marketing and low level of participation;Weak interpersonal communication skills,low reception level;Insufficient awareness of the importance of culture and natural resources;Homestay industry lacks of unified management and standardized operation.These problems are the main factors that restrict the insufficient participation of residents in poverty alleviation through tourism and the improvement of their participation ability.At the same time,this homogeneity problem is also the premise of carrying out the group and taking the vulnerable groups as members.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out the practical research on the improvement of community participation ability in poverty alleviation through tourism in M village with the group work.Therefore,with the participation of poor households in poverty alleviationthrough tourism as the entry point and the energy enhancement theory and social learning theory as the main theoretical support points,the group activities that meet the actual needs of local residents have been planned and carried out.By comparing the pre-test with the post-test,the achievement of the group's goal and the effect of intervention were evaluated.The following conclusions are mainly drawn: 1.Group workers can help residents change their self-cognition of participating in poverty alleviation through tourism,build up self-confidence,and change their idea of "waiting for and depending on";2.In the process of experience sharing and model learning,residents' sense of self-efficacy is further enhanced and their initiative and enthusiasm for participation are mobilized;3.Helped team members establish the awareness of natural and cultural resources protection through concept advocacy;4.Residents have acquired some basic knowledge related to tourism,which provides the possibility for diversified participation;5.Residents have mastered certain interpersonal communication skills,laying a foundation for improving tourism reception level and tourists' satisfaction.It can be found that group work has certain feasibility in the practice of improving the participation ability of poverty-stricken tourism communities.Its value lies in that social workers can help residents advocate correct concepts,build self-confidence,expand thinking and impart relevant knowledge and skills.It can help the residents transform from thinking to action,stimulate their inherent advantages and potential,and enhance their own ability construction,so as to improve their participation in poverty alleviation through tourism and their overall ability to get rid of poverty,which is conducive to the realization of poverty alleviation of the poor population and the social and economic development of the region.
