The Study On The Cooperation Mechanism Of Brics Under The Framework Of The United Nations

As the paragon of cooperation between developing countries and emerging economies,the Brics cooperation mechanism has successfully undergone the test of its first decade since its inception.Nothing can separate people with common goals and ideals,not even mountains and seas.It was not easy for the world's most representative emerging countries to grow up with doubts from developed countries.With the deepening of globalization and the increasing number of global issues,global governance has become the focus of common concern.The Brics have both the good will to participate in global governance and the capacity to play a vital role.Brics should pay special attention to expanding outreach exchanges and cooperation and strengthening dialogue with other international cooperation organizations such as the United Nations in order to make the international order more sensible.This study attempts to analyse the cooperation mechanism of Brics in the UN framework from the perspective of global economic governance through literature research,case study and comparative analysis.The author holds that the UN is an important platform for Brics to participate in global governance,and Brics should attach importance to the existence of the existing UN mechanisms.How to make full use of existing UN mechanisms is a key factor for Brics to achieve effective cooperation.Firstly,the study analyses the three key factors influencing Brics cooperation,namely,the degree of mutual recognition,the degree of convergence of interests,and the existence of other exclusive mechanisms.Secondly,the above three variables are tested through the comparative analysis of three cases.The UN Development Cooperation forum seek SSC cooperation with the Brics,as well as the success cooperation between the business council of Brics and UNIDO proves that the higher the degree of mutual and interests converge,and there is no exclusive mechanisms,the Brics cooperation effectiveness is higher.And in the new development bank and the world bank's case,although the two sides have common desire to improve the global economy,its exclusive characteristic of WB leads to a reduced Brics cooperation effectiveness.At the last part of this dissertation,the author proposes some suggestions and prospects for Brics to participate in global economic governance within the UN framework.
