By the end of 2017,the total number of migrant workers in China had reached 170 million.Migrant workers have made great contributions to economical and social development as an important force in urbanization construction.At the same time,the housing security of migrant workers has become increasingly prominent.The housing is crowded,the condition is poor,the health is poor,and the education and medical facilities are few.These phenomenon are common in the settlement of migrant workers in cities.The report of the 19 th National Congress pointed out the direction for solving the problem of housing security for migrant workers.It was proposed to we must not forget that housing is for living in,not for speculation.With this in mind,we will move faster to put in place a housing system that ensures supply through multiple sources,provides housing support through multiple channels,and encourages both housing purchase and renting.This will make us better placed to meet the housing needs of all of our people.Based on the definition of the concept of housing security willingness of migrant workers and the theory of summarizing,this paper sorts out the evolution process of housing security policy for migrant workers in Taiyuan City,and introduced the current situation of housing security practice for migrant workers in Taiyuan City.Taiyuan City has made significant progress in housing security for migrant workers: from a policy perspective,the housing security policy that has been introduced has become more specific and relevant,and the promotion of policies has been continuously improved.From the perspective of policy practice,the public rental housing policy will be migrant workers.It has included the scope of housing security,effectively alleviating the housing difficulties of migrant workers in Taiyuan City.Based on the questionnaire survey data of 260 migrant workers in Taiyuan City and the in-depth interview data of 12 interviewees,this paper constructs a research model of the factors affecting the willingness of migrant workers to housing security based on the discrete selection theory,through disordered multi-class logistic Regression analysis of the factors affecting the willingness of migrant workers in Taiyuan City.The analysis results show that among the migrant workers in Taiyuan City,women,under 30 years old,unmarried,personal monthly income is less than 3000 yuan,the number of family members living in the same household is less than one person,the working years in Taiyuan are less than 10 years,and the future is going to return to their hometown and Migrant workers who want to work in other cities are more inclined to housing monetary subsidies and affordable rental housing;males,over 30 years old,married,personal monthly income of more than 3000 yuan,and the number of family members living in 2 or more,in Taiyuan Migrant workers who have worked for more than 10 years and intend to settle in Taiyuan in the future are more likely to choose purchasing affordable housing.According to the actual housing security policy of migrant workers in Taiyuan City,combined with in-depth interviews,questionnaire surveys and data analysis results,the paper puts forward some feasible suggestions for improving the housing security policy for migrant workers in Taiyuan.Including: appropriately expanding the coverage of housing security for migrant workers;building a multi-level housing security system for migrant workers;actively expanding the housing supply and funding sources for migrant workers' affordable housing;strengthening the standard setting for housing for migrant workers;Workforce housing services,improve supporting facilities.
