After the reform and opening up, a large number of migrant workers come into the city to become the main force of urban construction and industrial development. Although they have left rural areas and no longer been engaged in farm work, but the most essential thing has not changed, their identity remains a peasant. The central work conference of urbanization put forward the first task is to promote the migrant workers to become the citizen. Therefore the study of the influence factors for migrant workers'willingness to become the citizen is very important. Along with the development of the times, the emergence of a large number of 80,90 migrant workers, among them the generational differences is becoming more and more obvious. Under such a background, in order to explore the differences in the influence factors on willingness of migrant workers to become the citizens between the old generation and the new generation, this paper is based on the data from 644 copies of questionnaire, and the migrant workers in different generations as the research object. In the empirical study, this paper point to the question " Are you willing to settle down in the city", to explore the willingness to become the citizen. Combined with related literature, the influence factors are divided into four aspects:personal factors, economic factors, social factors and psychological factors. This paper made the quantitative analysis of citizenization willingness of two generations of migrant workers through chi-square test and logistic regression based on the questionnaire. The study indicated that the two generation migrant workers both tended to become the citizens with the willingness of the new generation being higher than that of the old. Personal factors, employment economic factors, social factors and psychological factors all had effect to various degrees on the decision of the two generation migrant workers to become citizens. The employment economical factor had a more remarkable influence on the citizenization willingness of the older generation of migrant workers, while the social factor's effect on citizenization willingness of the new generation of migrant workers was more significant.
