Study On The Choice Of Old-age Care Model For The Elderly In Rural China From The Perspective Of Family Structure

China's aging degree is deepening,and there are differences between urban and rural areas.China has entered an aging society in 2000,the sixth census data show that China's population aged 60 and above reached 178 million people,accounting for 13.26%of the total population,China's aging process is accelerating.Moreover,the degree of rural aging is higher than the city,and the gap is widening,in 2010 China's rural aging rate of 14.98%,3.5 percentage points higher than the city.With the accelerated process of population aging,the effect of family planning policy,the large transfer of rural labor force,the size of Chinese family tends to be miniaturized,the family structure tends to be core,and the family form tends to diversify.Family is the main place of pension,changes in family structure,making the family's pension function has weakened in China's social pension system is not perfect,self-old age is limited in the context of China's rural elderly pension problem is increasingly serious.In the face of China's severe pension reality,the study of the differences in family structure,the old-age preference of the elderly in the rural areas,to the elderly in different families targeted to provide old-age security,to build a diversified pension system,explore and improve the security system Suggestions,research has some practical significance.In this paper,the use of STATA13.0,the construction of a number of Probit models using the Chinese Journal of Health and Accreditation Survey(CHARLS)of the National Development Institute of Peking University in 2013.Select the 12 variables of the family,the individual,the children and the four dimensions of the protection of the Chinese rural old age model from the study.Through empirical research,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The family structure has a significant impact on the choice of the old-age model for the elderly in rural areas.Compared with the core family,the rural elderly in the main family and the joint family are more inclined to choose the family pension;and the rural elderly in the main family have the greatest tendency to the family pension;the rural elderly in the joint family Social pension balance,will be more inclined to rely on the family for pension.2.The overall model,the family structure,gender,life satisfaction,the degree of self-care,economic support for children,whether to take care of the grandchildren,financial assets,whether to buy new agricultural insurance,to participate in the number of medical insurance 9 variables on rural elderly The influence of the old age,the age,the education level,whether still the agricultural production of the three variables on the rural elderly pension choice is not significant.The number of children,the economic support,whether to take care of the elderly on the rural elderly have a significant impact on pension options.3.Individual model,regardless of what kind of family in the elderly,children's economic support and the new agricultural insurance to participate in or not have a significant role;gender,life satisfaction,children's economic support,whether to care for grandchildren,financial assets,Whether to participate in the new agricultural insurance,to participate in the types of medical insurance These seven variables on the rural core family of the elderly in the role of the choice of pension model;gender,life satisfaction,self-care,children's economic support,financial assets,whether to participate in the new The six variables of agricultural insurance have a significant effect on the choice of the old-age model of the elderly in the rural core family.Only the children's economic support,whether to participate in the new agricultural insurance and medical insurance to participate in the number of these three variables through the joint family model of the significance test.On the basis of the research on the old-age choice of the elderly in rural China,this paper puts forward the basic status of family pension,the unique advantage of family pension,the construction of social service system,the construction of social old-age security system,Mental needs,enrich the daily life of the elderly;in the family structure differences,the elderly in the rural areas of differentiated pension,not generalization,precision pension,in order to improve pension efficiency,reduce pension costs.
