The Study On The Refugee Problem In Germany

Germany has always been playing the major and leading role in coping with the European refugee crisis.The process of the refugee problem in Germany also reflects the evolution of the European refugee crisis.It can be said that the refugee problem in Germany is the epitome of the European refugee crisis.Since 2015,the European refugee crisis has lasted for about four years.During this period,the refugee problem in Germany has also been constantly changing,and it has had a tremendous impact on Germany,European countries and even many countries in the world.In the face of the largest refugee wave in history,the refugee policy and response of German government directly reflect its ability to govern,and also directly affect the evolution process of the refugee problem in Germany.In a comparative Perspective,this essay sorts out the relevant literatures on the refugee problem in Germany,and studies the evolvement phases,demographic characteristics of refugees,policy and response made by German government,and impacts in the process of the refugee problem in Germany from 2015 to 2017.Firstly,as for the evolution process of the refugee problem in Germany and the feature of the refugee policy made by German government in different phases.It has been experienced the initial phase with"conservative and caution"policy,the outbreak phase with "open and welcome"and"gradual tightening"policy,the extinction phase with"internal tightening"policy,and the stationary phase with;"right-dip"policy.Secondly,from the perspective of the demographic characteristics of the refugees,on the one hand,there are a large number of refugees and the number of refugees has been rapid growing.The number of young men is more than others.On the other hand,the refugees mainly come from countries in the areas of Western Asia and Northern African.The distribution of refugees in Germany shows the character of geographical disequilibrium.In addition,obtaining refugee identity is more and more difficult than before.Finally,from the perspective of the impacts of the refugee problem in Germany,it is mainly reflected in the fields of economic,political,cultural and values,public safety and international relationship.The refugee problem in Germany is long-term,complex and international.The cooperation of all countries in the world is the key to solving the problem.In terms of specific recommendations,this essay believes that more efforts should be made in the following four aspects.Firstly,formulating and implementing a national immigration law as early as possible.Secondly,paying more attention to improve the integration of Muslim refugees.Thirdly,humanitarianism assistance should be taken to the countries in Middle East by Germany.At last,paying more attention to the integration education and the employment training for refugees.
