The Analysis Of German Refugeecrisis:Process,Policy And Impact

With the accelerated globalization process,the refugee issues is becoming a big challenge.The refugee issues of Europe is becoming more and more serious because it is near to West Asia and North Africa which is unstable.In German Refugee Crisis,"The Deaths of the Syria Boy",and "The Paris Attacks" divide its process into three stages:the initial stage,the flood stage and the declining stage.Compared with the two waves of refugees in history,this one has the flowing characteristics:Firstly,most of the refugees are young male Muslims;Secondly,the quantity of the refugees is large,and Germany has accepted most of the refugees;Thirdly,the countries most of the refugees come from is concentrated,and most of them come from West Asia and North Africa,and a large number of the refugees come to Europe for asylum because of the Syria Civil War;Fourthly,most of the refugees come to Germany through the East Mediterranean Sea Route,the West Mediterranean Sea Route and the East Balkans Route.The refugee policy of Merkel's government changes with the change of the situation of German Refugee Crisis.It can be divided into three stages:the hesitation stage,the open stage and the tighten stage.On the first stage,the Merkel government hasn't a clear policy;On the second stage,Merkel said "We can do it !" and said Germany will accept unlimited refugees,so,it attracted a large number of refugees to come to Germany for asylum;On the third stage,Germany started to only accept the real refugees and repatriate the refugees who haven't gained the asylum right.There are some errors in it:Firstly,she underestimated the complexity and seriousness of the Refugee Crisis;Secondly,she overvalued the cooperation intention of other European countries;Thirdly,she ignored the interests and psychological change of the public;Fourthly,she ignored the immigration tradition of Germany.German Refugee Crisis has some positive impact,it stimulate domestic demand and promote economic development and is helpful to solve the aging problem and labour shortage problem.It also has some negativeimpact:Firstly,it has a bad impact on the economy,security and culture of Germany;Secondly,the support rate of Merkel's government is declining and the support rate of AfD is rising because of it;Thirdly,it has a bad impact on the status of Germany in the EU.To solve the Refugee Crisis,German should stabilize the situation of Syria,cooperate with other countries,reduce the number of the refugees and help the real refugees adapt to German society quickly.
