The Strategic Study Of Mental Consolation Of Institutional Elderly Whose Children Migrating Abroad

With the continuous development of our society,the number of elderly population growing,more and more old people choose institutions endowment,in order to meet the demand for life to take care of himself.But endowment quality not only refers to the good life care,also includes spiritual support for the elderly.In the spirit of the children of parents support written into law,reflecting the current society attaches great importance to the elderly spiritual support.At present,the aging problem is increasingly serious,the demand for spiritual support is growing.So how to satisfy the demand for spiritual support in the elderly,improve the quality of pension become older work emphasis and difficulty in the future.Comparing with the elderly group of home care and community care,the lacking problems of community care elderly mental support are rather serious.Among that,the elderly with children moving abroad are most typical.The paper studies the mental consolation problem of this elderly group,hoping to put forward specific interfering strategies through the analysis on the status and needs of this elderly group,aiming at their plight of mental consolation,so as to raise the living quality of elderly later years.The paper,taking 18 old people with children moving abroad in F city’s social welfare institute,gains the first statistics through 5-month participatory observation and deep interview and other ways,to deeply understand the mental consolation situation of this elderly-group.According to the needs of the mental comfort of the elderly and the difficult y of obtaining solace,the social support theory is the guideline for designing the intervent ion strategy,and taking this strategy as the guidance,the actual operation is carried out fro m direct and indirect two service levels to provide social work services for the elderly.Fin ally,through summing up the experience and thinking of the strategy and practice process,this paper explores how to provide spiritual consolation service for the elderly in the organization.
