Social Work Intervention In Community Drug Rehabilitation Personnel's Social Integration

In recent years,the number of drug addicts in China has continued to grow and drug-related crimes have occurred frequently which causing great social panic.Drug trafficking takes more and more forms and even uses special groups such as pregnant and lactating women to engage in drug trafficking.With the development of network and logistics technology,drug traffickers have begun to use the network to carry out drug trafficking.Drug trafficking on the network has greatly accelerated the expansion of drug-abusing areas.In addition,drug trafficking on the network has become more covert.It is difficult for the state to crack down on drug crimes.The overflow of drugs has caused many social problems,such as destroying social order and poisoning social atmosphere.In order to create a harmonious and stable social environment,we must pay attention to drug prevention and withdrawal.At present,there are mainly voluntary detoxification,compulsory isolation detoxification and community rehabilitation for drug addicts in China.As a way for drug addicts to return to society,community rehabilitation has played an obvious advantage in drug addicts' detoxification work.Drug addicts can achieve quicker and better drug treatment under the supervision of various aspects of the community,and play an important role in promoting drug addicts' positive attitude towards life and reintegration into society.Although our country's community drug rehabilitation work has achieved some achievements,with the increasingly serious drug situation in China,the management of community drug rehabilitation workers' social integration has become more and more complex,which leads to the current government's inability to manage the work of community drug rehabilitation.Therefore,the government began to develop drug rehabilitation workers by purchasing social work services.In the community drug rehabilitation work,As a social worker in drug control,the author deeply understands the role of social work in community drug rehabilitation work.Through visiting the community drug rehabilitation workers,I understand their basic situation and the problems in the process of social integration.A representative community drug rehabilitation worker was selected as the object of this study.Through participatory observation and interview,I deeply understand the service objects and finds that the service objects appear in the process of social integration.Some problems such as unstable personal belief in drug treatment,tension in family relations and obstacles in social and interpersonal relations have been solved.According to the specific situation of the service object,I use the method of case social work to intervene.Under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and social support theory,I formulate three intervening stages and carry out seven professional interviews to help the service object strengthen the conviction of drug abstinence,ease family tension,improve social interpersonal relationship,and make it realize drug abstinence as soon as possible and reintegrate into the family and society.I evaluate and summarize this practical work,and find that there are some shortcomings in carrying out case social work: short case time,difficult to sustain the results;small power of social workers,difficult to coordinate departments;and the gap between professional learning and practice in colleges and universities.Relevant suggestions include: improving administrative support,stabilizing the social workforce;strengthening departmental contacts,promoting seamless integration;and strengthening cooperation between the government and universities.This paper explores the intervention process and effectiveness of community drug rehabilitation workers' integration into society under the guidance of cognitive behavior theory and social support theory,hoping to effectively help community drug rehabilitation workers reintegrate into society and also hope to provide reference for future research work.
