Farmer cooperatives is the inevitable choice of market economy,and the inevitable result of agricultural modernization.In increasing farmers'income,promoting the operation of industrialized agriculture and the construction of new countryside,farmers cooperatives play an important role and are of great significance.Professional agricultural machinery cooperatives,as a new force for the development of farm machinery socialization service,is an important part of farmers'cooperatives.In this paper the research object is the functions of the Fujian provincial government in the development of the professional agricultural machinery cooperatives,to compare the functions in thedevelopment of the farmers cooperative econimic organizations in the developed countries and areas with that supported by the domestic advanced provincial governments for study,analysis and reference.It provides the material for the analysis of the status quo,problems and countermeasures to promote the function of the government in this field.Aiming at the problem of the unbalanced development and lack of stamina to support the development and effective supervision in the government's function to give aid to develop the professional agricultural machinery cooperatives,through the studies,the author put forwards a series of measures to perfect the regulation system of the professional agricultural machinery cooperatives,to increasing the government financial support,to promote the cooperatives' standardized construction,to establish and improve the supervision mechanism to the professional agricultural machinery cooperatives.
