Research On The Capacity Building Of Unit Community Transformation From The Perspective Of Field Theory

The community is the basic unit of urban social governance and an important support for daily life of the people.Strengthening community construction,building a modern community governance system and achieving benign interactions among various entities in the community will help a lot to protect the residents' practical interests and maintain social harmony and stability.Community capacity building is an important part of community construction,which strengthens the action competence of organizations and groups through participation,cooperation,network construction,resource input,etc.Thereby promoting community development.With the gradual disintegration of the unit community in China as well as the unit community transformation occupies a large proportion in the urban community and takes place rapid development and change,it is very necessary and valuable to study community capacity by the research of unit community transformation.This paper applies the community field theory,which researches on social interaction of community,is suitable for the interaction of multiple subjects in the community and effectively connects the capital perspective and process perspective of community competence.Domestic scholars have applied community field theory to construct community capabilities.In order to strengthen the application of community field theory in empirical research,this paper builds specific indicators for community capacity evaluation under the guidance of community field theory and refines the dimensions of six community capabilities,such as community involvement,community sense,community interaction,community leadership,resource mobilization and problem assessment to measure the current state of community capacity in typical unit communities.On the basis of the integration and refinement of the community competence dimension,this paper mainly uses the questionnaire to measure the community capacity of the unit community transformation and conducts interviews in the community.Questionnaire analysis and interview results show that there are problems such as insufficient community participation,weak interaction between organizations,weak community leadership,and lack of community resources in the unit community transformation.Thus this paper proposes solutions,including enhancing community participation by enhancing residents' willingness to participate,strengthening service supply and broadening participation channels etc.Actively cultivating NGOs,strengthening ties with original units,building information technology interactive platforms to strengthen communities.Strengthening the cultivation and management of community leaders and bringing into play the role of community leaders,integrating community resources for external support and optimizing the internal and external institutional environment of the community.Through the above countermeasures,it is expected to solve the problems existing in the capacity building of the unit community transformation period,and provide reference value for the development of similar communities.
