Since the rise of the Islamic State in the Middle East in 2014,it has experienced the process of germination, rise, development, growth and demise, and once rose to become the most threatening and influential terrorist organization in the world.Because of its special political history, ethnic religion and economic situation,Southeast Asia has become a key area for the Islamic State to infiltrate outward.Under the joint attack of the international community, the forces of the Islamic State have been dealt a heavy blow and have nearly disappeared from the earth, but the religious extremist ideas spread by the Islamic State have still been deeply imprinted in Southeast Asia.To study the situation, ways and causes of the spread of Islamic State in Southeast Asia, and to explore the impact and potential risks of the spread of Islamic State in Southeast Asia on Southeast Asia and China. Finally,it puts forward some useful thoughts on how Southeast Asian countries and China can deal with the challenges brought about by the proliferation of Islamic State. It is of great significance to recognize the current anti-terrorism situation in Southeast Asia and to further combat terrorist forces.First of all, this paper summarizes the ways, methods and characteristics of the infiltration of Islamic State in Southeast Asia.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons why the Islamic State infiltrates Southeast Asia. This paper analyzes and collates from four aspects:the rise of the international Islamic revival movement, the ethnic and religious contradictions left over from history, the development and changes of terrorism in Southeast Asia and the imbalance of regional economic development.Thirdly, the impact and potential risks of the spread of Islamic State in Southeast Asia on Southeast Asian countries and China are analyzed. The article holds that,in addition to posing a threat to the security of Southeast Asian countries and China, the proliferation of the Islamic State in Southeast Asia has stimulated the development of populist movements in some Southeast Asian countries as a result of the development of regional terrorism. It has become an uncertain factor in the political security and stability of some Southeast Asian countries. Finally, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for Southeast Asian countries and China to deal with the rise of Islamic State.Although global terrorism has entered the post-Islamic State era,Southeast Asia is still facing a serious counter-terrorism situation, and Southeast Asian countries should proceed to establish a network of civil society against terrorism in Southeast Asian countries. We will enhance the role of modern science and technology in combating counter-terrorism and strengthen the collective action and counter-terrorism capacity of Southeast Asian countries.China and Southeast Asian countries should further strengthen political mutual trust:forge consensus on counter-terrorism cooperation, speed up the construction of a special mechanism for counter-terrorism cooperation with Southeast Asian countries, and further enhance China's role in counter-terrorism cooperation in Southeast Asia.In the future,in order to deaL with the threat posed by terrorism to the region.China and Southeast Asian countries should join hands and take measures to curb and eliminate terrorism so as to create a secure and stable environment for regional development. There is no useful thinking and exploration on the construction of a community with a shared future between China and Southeast Asian countries.
