Research On Ethnic Minority Offender Management Of P Prison In Yunnan Province

Ethnic minorities are influenced by the culture pattern and have their own characteristics in terms of language,culture and customs,which makes the ethnic minority offender management have to adjust its methods on the basis of fully combining ethnic minorities'characteristics.Such a way can thoroughly stimulate the enthusiasm and initiative of ethnic minority offenders themselves,and change "you want me reform"to "I want to reform",thereby:improving the scientific nature of the ethnic minority offender management:in prison,and promoting the offenders' unity and progress of all nationalities in prison.Based on previous studies on the ethnic minority offender management,this paper takes P prison in Yunnan Province as the research object,classifies and summarizes the basic situation and characteristics of ethnic minority offenders in P prison.On the basic of innovatively applies Herzberg's two-factor theory in incentive theory to the ethnic minority offender management,this paper analyses the shortcomings and reasons of the ethnic minority offender management in P prison,and puts forward some suggestions to improve the management level of ethnic minority offenders from three aspects:concept,system and measures,such as establishing the people-oriented concept,building a model prison of national unity and progress,promoting the application of management according to offenders',characteristics.And this paper explores how P prisons better bring into play motivation factors',effect of enhancing the enthusiasm while ensuring hygiene factors' effect of maintaining the management status of ethnic minority offenders.
