The development of international trade is the key to economic activities in every country.Any country that wants to develop must engage in trade activities.With the influence of the wave of globalization,countries around the world are increasingly becoming a comprehensive and relevant whole,and no country can violate the general trend of globalization.After the implementation of reform and opening up,China has made great progress in the economy and has maintained close relations with countries around the world.As an inevitable outcome of the development of productive forces,international trade has great significance for the healthy development of various countries and even the global economy,and has promoted the economic development of all countries.At the same time,the hidden problems have gradually emerged.How to deal with the unequal exchange brought about by international trade and the imbalance of industrial structure has become our top priority for promoting development.Marx and Engels discussed the contents of "international division of labor","world market" and "international value" in books such as "German Ideology","The Communist Manifesto" and "Das Capital" more than 170 years ago.These statements reveal the premise,laws,and influence of international trade,and lay a theoretical foundation for studying international trade today.Starting from the study of the works of Marx and Engels,this paper expounds the background conditions,contents and influences of the formation of Marx and Engels' international trade theory by combining theory and practice,historical analysis and dialectical analysis,and points out the problems that China should pay attention to.The measures taken to carry out international trade under the trend of globalization,and put forward their own views and suggestions on China's current trade development.In addition to the introduction,this article mainly includes three parts:The first part discusses the background conditions of the formation of Marx and Engels' international trade theory,including the socio-economic conditions and ideological sources at that time.The second part discusses the main content of Marx and Engels' international trade theory.Including the drivers of international trade development;the law of international trade;the understanding of international trade policies;and the impact of international trade on countries with different levels of development and the world economy as a whole.The third part analyzes the contemporary enlightenment of Marx and Engels' international trade theory.International trade is an inevitable trend of economic development.Developing international trade is an inevitable choice for China to realize socialist modernization.It draws a few issues that China should pay attention to when conducting international trade,safeguarding national rights and interests in international trade,and be a participant and promoter of the new international economic order.
