Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Laos and China on April 25,1961,the Bilateral Cooperation between the People's Democratic Republic of Lao PDR and the People's Republic of China has become increasing day by day,especially on Human Resource Development(HRD).Also,Educational Cooperation between China and Laos has been formulated since 1990 so far.Nowadays,the number and variety of scholarships are growing,giving more Lao students a first-hand experience of China's culture and education as well as upgrading the quality of Lao's education system development.The objective of this paper is to(1)study about the perspective of Lao students who got the scholarships from Chinese government concerning the understanding of Chinese educational system in accordance with the educational relationship/cooperation between the two countries,China and Laos,(2)investigate on the difficulties and challenges of the Laos-China education system policy adjustment and(3)highlight on how Lao government has improved its educational policy responding to the Chinese educational system.The scope of the study focuses on Lao students who got the SCS scholarship/Chinese Government in the fiscal year 2016-2018 in Wuhan,Hubei province 40%and Shangsa,Hunan province 40%and 20%another cities target in China.And in terms of the population and sample group of this research,the qualitative and quantitative approaches were adopted for Lao students and educational administrators.The questionnaires were applied to 150 for Lao scholarship students in the mentioned provinces of China and 10 of Lao Educational administrators,policymakers and policy stakeholders at the Ministry of Education and Sports in Vientiane Capital,Lao PDR.The mixed methodology used was compared between qualitative and quantitative research of both two parties,Lao students and educational administrators,which were the key involvement and supplementing of this academic research in order to analyze on the perception of the education system and cooperation between the two countries in accordance with finding out challenges for education system adjustment.The data collection was analyzed by using IBM Statistical Packaged for the Social Sciences(SPSS)and Microsoft Excel as the main technique tolls for this study through the means of Frequencies,Percentages,Cumulative,Tables,Diagram and Figures.
