Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the importance of poverty alleviation has become more prominent, and its effectiveness has been obvious to all.The living standards of farmers in the vast rural areas, especially in poverty-stricken areas, have increased significantly. As poverty alleviation work enters a crucial period,it is only economically out of poverty that clearly cannot meet the requirements of "really poverty alleviation".In order to truly achieve poverty alleviation, rural poverty-stricken areas must combine poverty alleviation with support and wisdom, and strengthen ideological and political education for farmers in poor villages.Ideological and political education is the meaning of the rural revitalization strategy, and it is a powerful spiritual support to win the fight against poverty. At present, the awareness of ideological and political education for peasants in poverty-stricken areas in China is basically available. However, the development of ideology in some poverty-stricken areas has not kept pace with economic development, and the overall ideological and political literacy has remained at a relatively low stage. There is a situation of blind pursuit of economic development and neglect of ideological and political education. At the same time,in the ideological and political education in rural areas, the content is mostly limited to theory, lacking of practicality and pertinence, single education mode, and imperfect educational mechanism are also prominent problems.Ideological and political education still lacks systematic and standardized guidance and targeted measures.
