Study On The Re-socialization Of Elderly Volunteers In Urban Communities

At present,our country population aging phenomenon becomes an important social issues,with the rapid changes of modern society,knowledge update process accelerating,contemporary elderly point of view more open,more active,have strong motivation and ability to cope with the social life,provides a good basis for the elderly and socialization.As a basic unit of social group or social organization,community should provide field and solution for the re-socialization of the elderly.Relying on communities and relevant resources,community social work provides social adaptation,social support,relationship adjustment,mental health,social participation and other social contents for the elderly in the form of volunteer services.It plays a positive role in promoting the social development of the elderly.Taking K community service center as an example,this paper analyzes the social workers in this institution in the process of providing community services,breaking t he traditional practice of taking social workers as the leading role in community servi ces,and cultivating the independent consciousness and ability of community retirees t hrough incubating elderly voluntary organizations.In the specific implementation,soc ial work mainly adopts the following methods to promote the establishment and devel opment of volunteer platform for the elderly: Pay attention to training,enhance the abi lity of volunteer service and service awareness;Strengthening planning guidance and promoting the standardization of voluntary service organizations;We will rely on soci al work organizations to build an information platform and expand the social support system for volunteer services for the elderly.This through the development platform o f volunteers to promote community subjectivity and motivation of the elderly,on the o ne hand,become the important form of social work intervention in community service,on the other hand,makes the elderly volunteers and mutual assistance in the form of a beneficial complementarity of the social endowment service resources in an increasingly tense,ultimately aims to promote the elderly society participation motivation and ability,to explore the elderly re-socialization of effective path.
