Analysis And Response Of Internet Public Opinion In Public Health Events

China is in a critical period of social transformation,there are still many loopholes in the field of public health.Sudden public health events occur frequently,especially in recent years.Food safety incidents such as "Sudan Red" and"Water-injected Pork" have emerged one after another,and vaccine scandal have occurred one after another.These all make the people disappointed in the status quo in the public health field.Sudden Public health events affect the health of the public.Due to its vital relevance to the public interest,negative tendency,high degree of rumor spread and influence continuity,once it happens on the Internet,it will cause uproar in the crowd.The research on the evolution of internet public opinion in sudden public health events can help the government deal with internet public opinion more scientifically and prevent the occurrence of internet public opinion crisis.This article takes Changchun Changsheng biological vaccine falsification event as the research case.Python software was used to crawl the data on Weibo,due to the huge amount of data,the author chooses the microblog with forwarding amount as the object of this study and 12219 valid data were finally obtained after processing.Based on the core idea of Life Cycle Theory,the evolution of internet public opinion of the whole event is divided into three stages:formation stage,outbreak stage and decline stage.Combined with the data,public opinion topics are divided into 8 categories:call for severe punishment of the involved enterprises and the person in charge;concerns about health risks from problematic vaccines;believes there are loopholes in vaccine regulation;track the specific direction of the problem vaccine;question the response of the involved companies;calls for lifting restrictions on imported vaccines;expressed anger and pain over the "fake vaccine";other optics.This paper also analyzes the elements of online public opinion of this event from five aspects,namely,the subject of public opinion,the behavior of the subject involved,the behavior of the government,the media report and the public opinion environment.It is pointed out that there are four characteristics of internet public opinion in this event,which are the vital correlation with the public interest,the negative tendency,the high degree of rumor flooding and the continuity of influence.At last,in order to help the government to improve its ability to respond to sudden public health events,this paper lists the deficiencies of China's internet public opinions in response to sudden public health events,and puts forward four suggestions for improvement based on the reality.
