Both China and India are emerging powers. The sound development of the two countries is not only conducive to the development of China and India, but also to regional security and stability. In history, the development of China and India has been smooth despite slight twists and turns. After modi took office,he introduced new policies to China, which further complicated Sino-Indianrelations.The combination of traditional diplomatic thinking and modi's personal characteristics has made the modi government more eager for India to become a world power and anxious about neighboring powers. The pragmatic nature of the modi government has made it more focused on economic interests, and its tendency to take risks has made it more uncertain. In the later period of modi's administration, the advantages of his governance expanded, which amplified his personal characteristics.Factors outside the region make Sino-Indianrelations relations more complicated, which will be affected by the United States,Japan and Pakistan.Under the influence of these factors,India has become increasingly "insolent" in South Asia, striving for hegemony and resisting the influence of other powers in South Asia.Externally, the modi government has upgraded its foreign policy, going further east and cooperating with east and southeast Asian countries to contain China. At home,Mr Modi, seeking re-election,has fanned the flames of nationalism by imposing tough policies on China.Abandon the traditional non-aligned policy, join the indo-pacific strategy of the United States, actively respond to the four-nation alliance plan, and try to draw the United States to counterbalance China;Treat "One Belt And One Road" with wariness and launch "monsoon road" to hedge against China's influence. These policy changes since modi came to power have had a number of adverse effects on China. The personality of adventure and speculation, trying to make the "Tibet issue" sink again;Maintain the position of "hegemon" and hedge more with Chinese policies;Trade between China and India has been unbalanced for years, and trade disputes between the two countries have reached a new high under modi.Greatpowers' interests extend and maritime competition is protracted. However, modi's personality also brings hope to the resolution of the issue. His pragmatic character makes the risk of conflict between China and India controllable, and his open character brings about multi-channel communication, which is conducive to promoting strategic mutual trust between China and India. At present,China and India are on the fast track of development and their conflicts are on the rise. However,we should see that the benefits of cooperation between China and India far outweigh the benefits of conflict.China and India can achieve strategic mutual trust through political cooperation.Strengthen the foundation of cooperation through economic and trade cooperation; We should promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges to realize exchanges and mutual learning between the two civilizations.China and India should resolve their differences through various channels and achieve mutual benefit and winwinoutcomes.
