Research On Marx’s Democratic Thought

This article takes the historical text as the center,and cuts into the democratic thoughts from the historical texts such as Marx’s Louis Bonaparte’s Misty Month 18,the French Class Struggle from 1848 to 1850,and the French Civil War,relying on the above historical texts.Interpretation and interpretation,combing,refining,and demonstrating Marx’s democratic thought.Marx stood on the standpoint of the proletariat and used the historical materialism to make a critical analysis of bourgeois democracy.Along the two dimensions of theoretical logic and realization form,we demonstrate and analyze the criticism made by Marxist capitalist democracy.The critique of capitalist democracy is mainly carried out from three aspects: firstly,the logical predecessor of capitalist democratic thoughts-the critique of atomic individuals.Second is the criticism of the essence of capitalist democratic thoughts-formal democracy.Finally,it is the critique of the characteristics of capitalist democratic thoughts--virtualism;the critique of capitalist democracy from the realization of form mainly focuses on the critique of "universal election system",representative system and agency system.It further reveals the evolutionary trend of capitalism from "democracy" to authoritarianism.By summarizing the revolutionary practice of the Paris Commune,Marx completed the construction of his democratic thoughts,including: universal suffrage,people’s supervision,public servant thinking,"cheap" and honest government thinking.Its democratic thoughts highlight the core essence of substantive democracy,unity of parliament and unity,and people’s democracy.It establishes the transcendence of Marxist ideology to Western "formal democracy" and highlights the unique position of Marx’s democratic thought in the ideological world.At the same time,Marx’s ideas of people’s sovereignty,people’s supervision,"cheap" government and clean government have profound theoretical and practical value for the construction of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics.From the perspective of cognition,its democratic thought provides an important ideological resource for discriminating and criticizing Western democratic politics.Focusing on the present,standing on the starting point of the new era,in order to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,we should continue to enrich the spiritual connotation of Marx’s democratic thought on the basis of practice and give play to its great significance for the progress of the times.
