The Formation Mechanism Of Network Community

On the basis of reviewing the relevant empirical researches on network community,it is found that the previous researches are still scattered and there is no comprehensive investigation on the formation mechanism of network community.Among them,the most critical defect is that there is no systematic analysis from the perspective of network sociology.The decline of traditional communities and the rise of network community,as well as the structural transformation of network society,have provided the basic experience for the research in this paper.Based on the changes of Chinese traditional culture and society,they have a comparative perspective.Based on the perspective of network sociology,especially Custer's theory of identity,this paper systematically examines the generation mechanism of network community from the three dimensions of basic logic,generation process and interactive structure of network community,and examines its essential characteristics from the generation mechanism of network community to understand how people balance the relationship between individuals and community.This paper holds that the network community is another community form with essential difference from the traditional community,rather than a branch form belonging to the social community.Secondly,this article thinks that the network community itself has its sociality and network nature,strives for the accuracy and conciseness of the concept expression,and strives for the concept of the network community to be more in line with logic and facts.therefore,it defines the network community as " a flowing identity community formed by netizens following the spatio-temporal logic of the network society,using network language to conduct circular crisscross network interaction,and transferring experience and identity construction."Based on the empirical analysis of " chattering",this paper summarizes the basic logic of network community generation into two categories,namely,the technological stickiness of the Internet and the reconstructed space-time structure;Second,the network community generation path follows the circle logic of capital and the self-construction logic of netizens.What needs to be emphasized is that the reconstructed space-time structure plays a dominant role.It is not only the kernel of the stickiness of Internet technology,but also the basic logic of the generation path of network community.Whether it is the circle logic or the self-constructed logic,it plays a role under the domination of the reconstructed space-time structure.At the same time,this dominant role is influenced by both capital and Internet technology.The circle logic of capital and technology internally reflects the integration power of network society.The basic logic of the formation of network community reveals the necessary premise and foundation of the formation of network community.The further problem is which mechanism is followed in the formation process of network community,that is,how scattered netizens construct community.This paper conducts empirical research from the dimensions of ties,identity sources,identity construction paths,and the practice of identity types.First,network connections,identity,and network language provide connecting links for the formation of network community.The reason for the network is not only from the space-time structure of the reconstruction of the network society,but also the embodiment and social consequences of the transformation of the social structure,and the concrete source of identity construction is based on emotional resonance,value judgment and real experience.Second,after revealing the connection ties of network community,they turned to the specific path of identity construction,which is summarized as the path of " local experience-transferring experience-expanding experience".At the same time,it points out that the formation of network community is the practice of resistance identity and planning identity.Finally,the interaction of the network community is analyzed from the perspectives of the pursuit of communication and expression and the interaction structure.Firstly,the network community meets the communication and expression needs of the members,providing a place for the individual expression of the community members,the discussion based on the facts and the discrimination of values,and reflecting the tendency of the members to join the community from seeking belonging to the pursuit of communication and expression itself.Second,this paper defines the network community as a circular staggered three-dimensional interactive structure based on the interaction and connection between nodes.On the one hand,this interactive structure is the result of network logic and liquidity logic.On the other hand,it is also influenced by the communication logic of China's differential order pattern.Based on this kind of interactive structure,it is extremely open and contractible.This article supplements the general characteristics of the network community,namely,the generation of the network community presents the characteristics of mutual interweaving of sensibility and rationality,which is difficult to separate,and the generation of the network community is accompanied by internal conflicts.At the same time,it points out that the essential characteristic of the network community is mobility,and the connotation of mobility is multiple.On the one hand,the mobility of the network community is the inevitable consequence of the logic governing the space-time structure of the network society,on the other hand,it can more effectively meet the dual desire of human beings for freedom and security,which is also the internal reason for the rise of the network community.As to how people balance the relationship between individuals and society,i.e.the unity of network society,this paper makes an exploratory response to the relevant theories of network sociology.
