Research On The Needs Of Social Participation Of Community Volunteers Of Low Old Age

The level of social ageing is serious and the government promotes a positive ageing.The initial heart of this study was to find the answers to the “How old life can be more meaningful”,and through the period of being an internship contacting with the elderly community volunteers,it was found that they had a good mental state in the process of social participation and were actively involved in the activities.The “elderly community volunteers”group aroused my great interest,facing the increasing number of the old people,how to guarantee the quality of the late-year life of the old people and to respond positively to the national advocacy “the positive aging” of the People's Republic of China.In the Law on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly in the People's Republic of China,it is put forward that “to participate in the voluntary service and to set up public welfare undertakings”on the participation of the elderly in the social development in 2013.And the policy support the elderly to participate in the volunteer service activities.At the same time,during the visit,it is clearly that the contemporary old men have the new characteristics,have a more open mind,stronger social participation consciousness,and carries on various forms of social participation.Perhaps this is the right way of the elder to improve the quality of life.Participate in social life actively.In today's society,what are the specific ways for the community volunteers to participate in the society?In the process of social participation,what needs of the community volunteers of the young and old are met?In order to discuss the needs of community volunteers,the following specific questions are raised as follows: what are the characteristics of this group?Why did the younger people choose to be community volunteers in the first place?What kind of social participation did they choose?What are the requirements behind these choices?In this way,in the process of participating in the society,what are their needs met?How can the community provide better services,improve the social participation of the elderly volunteers and improve the quality of life of the elderly population?Taking the X community of Beijing as an example,this paper adopts the method of participatory observation to enter the life of the volunteers in the young and old community,participate in their daily activities,and conduct a one-to-one semi-structured in-depth interview.,their participation is characterized by the understanding that the field of social participation of community volunteers in the young and elderly community is often based on the community,and various forms of activities are adopted to solve the needs of the elderly for social participation based on safety,social needs,respect and self-actualization.In particular,is through the spare time to participate in community volunteer service activities,inorder to get the future volunteer service safeguard,get to meet security requirements,anti-aging,open and meet the demand of the mood,get emotional connection interpersonal interaction collective belonging needs met,for sure,honor and reputation to meet the needs of the dignity and self-realization,obtain satisfy the demand of faith.Among this group,the need for dignity and self-actualization is the most prominent.
