Social Support Study Of Juvenile Community Prisoners

At present,the society is in a stage of change and development.The rapid development of social economy,the diversification of access to information and knowledge means also bring about some negative effects.The improvement of the material level advances the physical development of adolescents,but their cognitive and psychological development cannot keep up with the speed of physiological maturity.The special stage of physical and psychological development determines the ability of this group to lack social experience and distinguish between right and wrong,and is more susceptible to the negative social environment and to the path of illegal crime.Although according to the statistics of the Judicial Big Data Research Institute,the number of juvenile crimes in China has continued to decline,the statistics of the Juvenile Crime Research Society show that the total number of juvenile crimes still accounts for a large proportion of criminal offences in China.With the lightening trend of judicial reform,community corrections were written into China's criminal law in 2011,and in recent years,it has achieved good results in promoting the re-socialization of prisoners.The minors who violate the law are at the early stage of their development and have no independent living ability.The community correction as a non-custodial punishment is more applicable to their physical,mental and developmental characteristics.At present,the research results of psychology,sociology and criminology all prove that social support plays a very important role in the return of minors to society,socialization and crime prevention.However,most of the current academic research focuses on the social support problems of adult prisoners,but the content of social support research for underage community prisoners is very small,and there are fewer in-depth surveys based on field research.Therefore,this article touches the life,family,and work environment of underage community prisoners with the social worker's identity advantage.It uses literature research and field research,combining sociology,psychology,criminal psychology,and pedagogical knowledge to underage communities.In-depth study and analysis of the social support status and existing problems of prisoners found that this group hasself-esteem,low self-identity,weak family support,low emotional support,poor development,lack of education,employment,development support,and society.The problem of blocked communication.After analyzing the causes of the problem,from the macro-building the community correction system for minors,strengthening the government functions,increasing the government's investment in purchasing services,Zhongguan — participating the schools into the community corrections,and taking measures to promote the community correction culture Construction,micro--focus on the psychological counseling of underage prisoners,develop family therapy,and improve the social support of underage community prisoners at three levels.I hope to provide suggestions and references for community corrections while improving the community's attention to this particular vulnerable group.
