In the past sever years, the issue of gender discrimination in women's employment has become the focus of widespread concern in society.Especially in the process of graduates seeking employment, gender discrimination is very common. In 2019,Premier Li Keqiang of the State Council clearly stated in the government work report that “employment should be determined to prevent and correct gender and identity discrimination in employment”.The labour Contract Law has been in force for 11 years since it was officially implemented on January 1,2008.It has also played a positive role in regulating the labour market. However,in the actual implementation process, there have been relatively large deviations between different regions and different enterprises, leading to discrimination in women's employment and the inability to effectively protect legitimate rights and interests.Although the signing of labour contracts effectively protects the legitimate rights and interests of workers, its implementation effect, whether it can effectively protect the legitimate rights and interests of female workers, and reduce the unequal treatment of female workers in the work process, needs further verification. In order to study the impact of signing labour contracts on the protection of women workers' rights and interests, this paper firstly compares the domestic and international research on labour contract for women's rights and interests, and puts forward the research content, research ideas and paper structure, and deepens the impact of labour contracts. The analysis analyzes the influence mechanism of female labourers' rights and interests from the aspects of female labourer protection mechanism, labour market segmentation mechanism and human capital decision mechanism, and provides theoretical basis for this study. On this basis, this paper comprehensively evaluates the impact of labour contract signing on the protection of female workers' rights and interests from social security participation, wage income, working hours and overtime compensation, and conducts logit regression and quantile on 2016 CLDS data.Regression,Oaxaca decomposition, and tendency matching are used to quantitatively analyze the positive effects and shortcomings of labour contract signing, and hope to provide a basis for future research. The results show that: First, the labour contract can effectively enhance the participation of female workers in social security, while the non-basic insurance such as work-related injury insurance, maternity insurance, unemployment insurance and so on is more obvious.Second, the signing of labour contracts can significantly improve the wage level of female workers, but not the male wage level. At the same time, the wage gap between employees is largely due to endowment regression.Third, the conclusion of labour contracts can effectively reduce the working hours, enhance income of female workers, but the impact of overtime is not significant.Combined with the above conclusions, this paper suggests that the government should constantly adjust and improve the protection policy of women workers' rights and interests, strengthen the attention to women 's equal employment opportunities, and supplement the Labor Contract Law according to the current actual situation. At the same time,we will intensify policy implementation, establish a credit management system for employers' labor security and regularly publicize it.Relevant departments will continue to improve the regulatory mechanism and interview mechanism, and accelerate the implementation of the Anti-Employment Discrimination Act to regulate employment behaviors,so as to ensure that relevant policies are effectively implemented and the legitimate rights and interests of women workers are further enhanced.
